The Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre is an elephant sanctuary
located in Temerloh in the state of Pahang, Malaysia within the Krau Game
Reserve. Mala, my work colleague, invited me to visit this Elephant
Sanctuary. There is a minimal fee to bathe with the elephants at the river with
a guided tour. But to see and feed the elephants is free.
This is Shaqeel, Mala's son.
I taught him how to do selfies and he has been doing it very well.
This is the sticker that the tour guide has given us, his name is Kamil.
This is one of the elephants that we fed!
Mala is asking Shaqeel if he wants to feed Elly.
Shaqeel was feeding the elephant with peanuts.

One of the elephants going near the people watching to be fed.
I am feeding the elephant with sugarcane. MYR 3.00 for the bunch of sugarcane.

We have been trying to take a photo of him with the sign board 'Elephant Sanctuary' but he could not stay still.
I was very a little bit uncomfortable with the bathing of the elephants at the river cause this elephant just poo-poo'ed before we bathed him...
Please, don't!
