Lunch at Tony Roma's at Pavilion Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Today is Johnathan’s first day as a trainer. Officialy, we have a third trainer on board! The workload was just too much and I cannot take it any longer. He is a relief to all the stress.

Last year, as a welcome to me in my new position, I was taken out for lunch by my boss, Chris and my work colleagues, Mala and Niamh (back then). So today, we took Johnathan to Pavilion Mall at Tony Roma’s, one of the expensive restaurants there. He ordered Lamb Ribs, Mala had Beef Bacon Sandwich Burger, and I had Ribeye Steak.

I was so full, I did not finish the side dishes.

It was so cold in the training room, that I wanted to sleep…and just sleep. Especially after the heavy lunch!

"Love, Rosie" Film at GSC Signature, The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur

It has been the most productive weekend I ever had after a long time! I woke up at 9am. I cleaned up my room, hovered around the whole house, did my laundry and hung them dry, folded clothes from the previous cleaned laundry the other day, mopped the floor and cooked lunch!

The feeling of accomplishment was immaculate!

I also did the groceries yesterday so this was all overwhelming.

So there is that feeling of I so deserve to go out and have fun today after all that work. So around 3pm, I went out with Julie to The Gardens Mall in the city and watched a film, a love story and a heart-warming one entitled "Love, Rosie". It was good.

This was a great weekend. Hope to have more of this!

Oh, I am going to Krabi next weekend so will upload photos from there soon!

Catch-up with Jeniffer & Jean at Chilli's, Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur

Jeniffer and Jean were my training classmates at work. I was hired in September 2011. We were trained by Ms Hong and she is no longer with the company. Until now, I work here. Jean left in 2012 and Jeniffer left in 2013. Still, we tried to meet and catch up even after they left. Before this, we met on September 2013 at Paradigm Mall. This year, we met at Chilli's in Midvalley. It was the Deepavali season so there was a very large Deepavali decor in the mall and of course, we have to take a photo!

I never thought I will see this girls again. Jean was married two years ago and Jeniffer will be married next year. When is mine? Not anytime soon.

Seri Puteri Condominium, Cheras (New Place!)

Being an expatriate, there is always this moment when you have to move places because of a) you don’t like the people you live with, b) the rental is expensive, c) you need a place nearer to work and it can also be d) any other reasons outside your control. For me, it was C). I used to work in Bukit Jalil but our company decided to buy a new building and moved to Bukit Bintang and since I don’t drive, I need to find a place near the LRT station. Fortunately, I found this place with my housemates, Julie and Josie. The Cheras LRT is right in front of the condominium, the bus U44 stops right near the condominium and there are several restaurants near the place. There’s alo 7-11 and 99 Speed Mart grocery shop at walking distance.

The rental is MYR 1800 for 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms. Yes, each of the room has an attached bathroom. The place is quite huge and it is new! MYR 1800 is with an empty unit, only equipped with lights, ceiling fan and shower water heater. We have signed a 2 year contract on this unit and hopefully, it goes well.
